Plane Holders

Although not essential for play, the plane holders represent the spirit of the conflict along with vintage graphics. Shot down planes take a permanent home in the sky, often in formation for the truly unlucky player, without the disgrace of being grounded. In addition, no restored game is complete without the holders to keep planes from bouncing around the inside of the box, not to mention their display value. The boxes are fairly consistent from print run to run, but the differences in wear can be considerable, and examples from homes with bright sunlight and smokers typically have faded graphics or yellowing backgrounds. Because these would be difficult to reproduce at Kinko’s without a lot of trouble, they command the steep price of $6.00. Condition of existing holders can be matched at no additional charge.
